Web Developer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development technologies and a passion for creating user-friendly, efficient web applications and related operations workflows in the art business services. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining web applications in Deluge within Zoho Creator that enhance user experience and meet the needs of our artists.

Job Type: Fukk-time, Fixed-term contract
Contract Length:3 months probationary, Unlimited
Working hours: Around 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Work Location: Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Writing, modifying, integrating, and testing codes in Deluge within Zoho Creator
  • Maintaining the existing applications and programs by making necessary modifications
  • Implementing various website template designs to be available and function properly for partners and artists
  • Programming, modifying, and using ZC functions, forms, reports, and HTML pages
  • Providing different usage measure reports and insights for platform services
  • Providing insights and reports for opportunities, exhibitions, and publications to enhance marketing and other operations
  • Synchronizing third-party service websites such as online shops and galleries, publications, print-on demands
  • and submission engines with various sections of company platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy of reports and updates on time
  • Maintaining the security policies to keep all systems secure and hack-proof
  • Conducting, planning, and organizing test scenarios and procedures for new features
  • Utilizing third-party tools, functions, features, and APIs to increase the application productivity
  • Maintaining and setting up domains and servers
  • Planning and operating the upgrade process for any third-party software to ensure the consistency of services
  • Designing and integrating front-end interfaces and programming back-end (server-side) environment
  • Developing website architecture together with all software and hardware requirements
  • Preparing reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of all platform modules and applications
  • Preparing sketches, layouts, and graphic elements of the subject to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout and design software
  • Creating and optimizing content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software
  • Designing and implementing logos, logotypes, diagrams, advertisements, slides for various in-house brands, and calls
  • Designing the overall appearance, look and feel, and graphic elements of each email, website, and online presence
  • Choosing design templates, color palettes, and relevant typography for various partner websites
  • Choosing the best design template for artist websites
  • User management and administration
  • Communicating with software vendors such as Zoho Corporation, Blogger, Google, Apple, etc.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.



Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Zoho Creator and Deluge
  • Experienced in Angular and JavaScript for front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for building responsive web designs.
  • Experience with C# for back-end development tasks.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while effectively managing individual tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Social Media Assistant
We are a Canadian art organization supporting visual artists to extend their audience network, increase their art exposure and potential sales, and develop their artistic careers globally.
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, ethical social media assistant to join our team. A routine day in this part-time remote work includes creating screenshots from webpages, editing and cropping digital images and videos, and uploading images, videos and texts into social media posts in separate accounts in social media applications.
No deep formal experience is required; however, being self-organized, having an eye for details and being good at doing repetitive tasks is the key to success in this job. The ideal candidate will act according to the presented objective frameworks for social media and content strategy.

Job Type: Part-time, Fixed-term contract
Contract Length: 12 months with 3 months probationary - Can be extended to a full-time permanent position
Part-time hours: Around 20 hours per week
Salary: $18 per hour
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Work Location: Remote
Work Load: Preparing and sending social media posts in separate accounts on a daily basis


Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in all major social media platforms and management tools
  • Proficiency on editing, and uploading social media posts based on previously prepared formats
  • Basic understanding and skills of Adobe Photoshop
  • Being IT-literate and skillful in using Microsoft Office and web-based platforms
  • Being able to work with both computers and smart phones is a crucial ability
  • Ability to work independently and having strong time management is a must
  • Needs to meet the deadlines and have ability to multitasking
  • Solid communication skills while working with all directly or indirectly involved stakeholders
  • Reporting to the direct manager


Bonus Skills
  • Being practical with other components of Adobe Creative Suite (such as Lightroom, Premiere) is an advantage
  • Copy-editing and copywriting skills to curate social media posts is a positive add-on
  • Graphic design and customer service knowledge and experiences are an asset
  • Possessing an interest in visual art is a plus
